Shonaquip was founded by a mother’s passion to build a wheelchair that would enable her daughter with disabilities to move and thrive within the community. By unlocking this potential, Shonaquip is also unlocking the potential of the caretakers and communities who would otherwise need to support their family members.

One of Shonaquip’s top priorities going into this project was increasing their production capacity.

Shonaquip partnered with Lucas Sutterer, a business transformation expert who has worked with companies to improve their collaboration, operational excellence, practical innovation, and applied technology. Together, they:

• Reviewed current manufacturing process and pain points.

• Learned and practiced efficiency principles.
