Since the 1970s, the United States has seen runaway growth at every level of the justice system. Stakeholders on both sides of the political spectrum are working to pass common sense laws, but the data to implement these laws is still scattered. As a result, hundreds of thousands of people are getting stuck in our criminal justice system even after they’ve completed their sentences.

Recidiviz brings the data together and builds tools for decision makers to help more people get out of the system and stay out of the system. Today, Recidiviz’s platform covers 25% of the people in prison. In the next five years, Recidiviz seeks to expand to 40 states to cover approximately 80% of the prison population.

One of Recidiviz’s top priorities going into this project was setting up new employees for success with a revamped onboarding process.
