Lively Minds partnered with Rippleworks to develop and implement a comprehensive set of OKRs
Lively Minds gets preschool children in rural Ghana and Uganda ready for school. Working with government partners, they train marginalized mothers to run educational play schemes in their communities, as well as to provide simple and affordable care and learning opportunities at home. The result for students from the poorest 20 percent of households is improved cognition, which in randomized control trials was twice as high as children from better-off households who did have access to the Lively Minds teachers.
Lively Minds’ top priority was preparing their organization for a period of rapid growth in both Ghana and Uganda by adopting a new system for managing projects and setting goals. Lively Minds partnered with Rippleworks to develop and implement a comprehensive set of OKRs to set and track strategic and individual goals as well as normal operations.
The project has transformed how our organization approaches planning. It has helped us to set more tangible and defined quarterly goals and to be more accountable for these.
