GGEM aims to empower smallholder farmers in Malawi, who are crucial to the nation’s agriculture yet face challenges in maximizing yields and securing fair prices for their produce. GGEM addresses these challenges by offering training, finance, and access to fair markets. GGEM’s also aims to develop an ethical market platform to support more farmers and address multiple areas of the agricultural supply chain.
One of GGEM’s top priorities going into the project was creating a roadmap for a data system to support growth.
GGEM partnered with Julius Bogdan, an executive leader with a track record of driving digital transformation, scalable application and analytics strategies, and sustainable growth across healthcare, technology, and retail. Together, they:
